Synopsis
No one every pronounced the name of Christopher Hughes which remained something sacred for the inhabitants of the house. Telegraphic engineer in his own country, Christopher Hughes arrived in Georgia in 1920 to construct the telegraph line London/Delhi, which was to run right across several countries, including Georgia. He came to live in the village of Sio in Georgia where he met Anna, the sister of Nestor, president of the local community...
