简介
testDirector (France)
Born 1943 in Valence-d'Agen, in the Tarn and Garonne region. André Téchiné, previously a film critic, saw his first film, Pauline s'en va, selected for competition at the 1969 Venice International Film Festival. From Souvenirs d'en France or Barocco in the 1970's to the November 1998 release of Alice et Martin, he frequently found himself competing in some of the biggest festivals, notably Cannes where his films were crowned with success on four occasions: Les Soeurs Brontë in 1979, Rendez-vous for which he received the Best Director Award in 1985, Le Lieu du crime the following year and Les Voleurs in 1996. La Matiouette was screened in the 1983 Un Certain Regard section, as well as Les Roseaux sauvages in 1994 which also received the Louis Delluc Award and the César Award for the Best Film. Jeanne Moreau, Isabelle Adjani, Isabelle Huppert, Catherine Deneuve (whom he directed in four films), Juliette Binoche and Elodie Bouchez - whom he discovered and directed in Les Roseaux Sauvage - owe him some of their most interesting roles.
