Synopsis

Jean-Paul Belmondo since fifty years, is one of the favorite French actors of the public. Since its brilliant debuts in Breathless(1959)directed by Jean-Luc Godard revealing an atypical personality, until its big popular successes of the 70s and 80, Belmondo did not stop questioning.

This lucid and informed man managed his producer comedian's career by choices which allowed him to alternate harmoniously the genres, passing easily of the universe of Godard to Verneuil, Truffaut to Jean Becker, from Resnais to Lautner, of Malle to Philippe de Broca …

Objector to the self-satisfaction and to the honors of cheap junk, Jean-Paul Belmondo has never accepted that a movie analyzes its career, visits his family and encircles the real personality of the man.
