THE EXECUTION
Synopsis
In 1954, a priest, in the earlier stages of his search for truth, has to give the last sacraments to a criminal condemned to death. The priest is daunted by the depressing atmosphere of the prison. When he meets the condemned man he is shocked by his appearance because he seems much too young and innocent to be executed at the age of 22. The priest is confused and disagrees with the executioners but the condemned man looks peaceful.
