After the official screening of To Each His Own Cinema, President Gilles Jacob was hailed to come on stage, where he received an enormous round of applause, and appeared decidedly moved by it all. The 60th Anniversary Gala took place in the Roseraie Gardens, specially arranged for the occasion. The festivities included a fireworks display over the Bay of Cannes by Groupe F, a company specializing in the design of pyrotechnical shows, internationally renowned for their contribution to the Athens Olympics in 2004.
