Synopsis
"The past is not dead. In fact, it's not even past." (W. Faulkner)Mariola, a young Polish woman in search of a bright future in New York finds herself in the heart of extinct and buried Polish past: in a Hassidic house where she helps to prepare for Shabbat. Overwhelmed by her experience as well as loads of ammonia she is being driven home by the eldest son. This is the most unusual ride home…
